The BDC has a team of 11 people with 7 being general staff and 4 project staff.
The general staff has a Vice President, 4 Business Development Specialists, a Business Development Officer, and a Business Development Assistant, while our Project Staff comprises of a Project Coordinator and 3 Business Development Officers.

She joined the Corporation in 2003, has attained both a MSc and BSc in Business Administration and certificates in various disciplines including Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Strategic Leadership, Coaching, Human Resource Management, Cluster Development, Incubation, Implementing Grant Funds among others. She has also managed various projects and is currently Country Advisor for the Direct Assistance Grant Scheme implemented by Caribbean Export Development Agency.

Mrs. Brathwaite joined the Corporation in 2006 and has over 25 years’ experience in SME development having worked within the Small Enterprise Development Unit (SEDU) of the Grenada Development Bank.
She holds an international diploma in Modern Management/Administration, Business Management and Human Resource (Personnel) Management and certificates in Project Management, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Marketing.

She joined the staff of the GIDC as Business Development Officer during the period 2014-2015 under the Market Access and Rural Enterprise Programme and returned to the GIDC in 2019 as Project Coordinator. She holds an International Masters in Business Administration and BSc in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. She holds various certificates in Networking, Packaging and Labelling, Entrepreneurship Skills among others.
