Funded by CARICOM Development Fund under its Country Assistance Programme 2014-2015, The main aim of this component of the project was to promote the development of competitive Micro and Small Enterprises. The GIDC, therefore, assisted 30 existing enterprises to prepare business plans and 25 to implement the various aspects of the plan. The entrepreneurial and business skills of 60 existing businesses in key sectors such as manufacturing and agro-processing were enhanced.
